About me

My name is Adrian Randall (but then you know that from the name of the site!) Notes and Domino consultant, Raspberry Pi hacker, foodie, traveller and keen wannabe mountain biker.

I currently live in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Prior to moving back to Australia in Auguest 2004 I was living in Kingston upon Thames, which is South West London in the UK for just over 9 years. Before going to live and work in the UK I lived in Sydney around the Carlingford and North Ryde areas.

As a child I spent most of my childhood growing up in Albury on the New South Wales and Victorian border in Australia.

I am really passionate about software development and have strong a work ethic and feel everything I do for my clients/employers should be value for money. I despise cutting corners due to lack of resourcing and funding.

I am a founding member of the Australian Lotus User Group and committee member/organiser for the annual Inform Conference (formerly known as AusLUG).

I am a seasoned ICT professional with over 26 years of development and software design expertise and over 25 years experience developing, administering and consulting on HCL/IBM/Lotus Collaboration Solutions Software. I began working with Lotus Notes in 1998 on version 4. In December 2016 I was awarded the honour of IBM Champion for Collaboration Solutions.

Travel is one of my great passions in life. I love travelling and immersing myself into a local culture, sampling the foods and drinks on offer and generally meeting wonderful and interesting people. I have traveled extensively, both personally and professionally.

In April 2010 I started mountain biking quickly become mad keen and joined the local mountain bike club. We ride all over the beautiful Sunshine Coast. You can see some of those places by checking out my Instagram page via my Contact Me page.
